The OOW 3000 Deck Training Record Book (TRB) is part of the requirements for the Officer of the Watch (Yachts) Certification – OOW 3000 (Y).

You need to have the tasks and duties signed off by your Captain to show that you have completed each one. 

It must be submitted to the MCA for the NOE application and to the examiner when you sit your oral examination.

The PYA recommends that you take at least one year to complete the tasks in the TRB. Full members can benefit from a free copy of the bound PYA TRB. To receive one, please contact certificates@pya.org

Engineers wanting to obtain the TRB for the SV Program, they must refer to the training providers and colleges offering SV courses.
